Jeff
Bender has over 20 years experience as a marketing and media executive
managing some of the world’s leading media and entertainment
brands.
Before launching Ionic, Bender was a partner at The McKenna Group, running the media and entertainment practice in the preeminent global marketing and strategy consulting firm. Bender joined The McKenna after leaving The Walt Disney Company where he was SVP/GM of Ecommerce for their Internet . During his 5-year tenure with Disney, Bender was responsible for pioneering their online marketing, media and ecommerce strategies; having initiated and developed many of today’s online marketing standards and tactics.
Bender was recruited to Disney from Time-Life where he was brand manager in charge of their video and television division, managing several of their most successful video continuity programs. Before joining Time-Life, Bender was director of marketing at TV Guide managing their DRTV and brand advertising. Bender started his career working for several direct marketing agencies including Corinthian Direct and Western Media Direct.
